How to check your account region
Log into Riot Account management and check Country/Region. If the information is unclear or does not match your location, please use Riot Help and Support. The region of residence affects the available payment methods and gaming infrastructure; the selected match server and Riot ID suffix do not replace this check.
Before purchasing, only show the seller the unclassified information needed for compatibility: game, platform, and region. You don't need a password, multi-factor verification code, or full account access. If the card says EU, don't infer compatibility just from the word "Europe" - check the specific terms of the product.

Which card is suitable for VP
Current help for Riot cash codes combines prepaid and gift cards, including Riot PIN. Their purpose is the premium currency of the supported game. Content code gives out a specific item and does not necessarily replenish VP.
Don't assume that all Riot cards work in all games, countries, and clients. Compare the offer description with the selected game before paying. If the denomination is stated in money, do not promise yourself a fixed number of VP without confirmation: packages and bonuses may vary.

How to buy and activate a code
In Unlimit, select the appropriate denomination and enter the email for delivery. After payment and order processing you will receive a code. Save the letter and confirmation of purchase: they will help you figure out the error, but should not be made publicly available.
Log in to the desired Riot Account and double-check the account name.
On PC, open the VP purchase and available prepaid codes section or the official Riot redemption site.
For the console scenario, use the official Code Redemption site linked by Riot.
Enter code; if there is a game choice, indicate VALORANT and check the result before confirming.
Confirm the redemption and check the VP balance in the game.
Don't use a code first in League of Legends for the sake of testing: once redeemed in one game, it won't become a new code for another.

Why the code may not work
When reporting a region, compare the card conditions with the account region. Changing the language or running a VPN does not change the inappropriate code into acceptable code. If the account region is recorded incorrectly, its correction is carried out according to Riot rules, and not for the sake of one cheap denomination.
If you receive an “already used” message, check your activity history and make sure you are not re-entering the old code from your email. For invalid code, check the characters and issue status. Don't endlessly scroll through the options: save the exact text of the error and contact the seller or Riot support.

How to distinguish a top-up from a skin purchase
Receiving VP does not automatically purchase the skin you selected. Once the currency arrives, open the VALORANT store and check the offer, contents and price. The skin is not guaranteed to remain in the store rotation while your order is being processed.
For limited time offer purchases, leave a reserve and don't spend over your budget just for the timer. If you need a gift for a friend, give him an unused compatible code privately: redemption on your account does not create a VP transfer to another player.
