01
Strengthen your account foundation
Create a long, unique password that is not used in other services. Then confirm the email and protect the mailbox itself with a separate password and two-factor verification.
In your Riot Account settings, enable the available MFA method and make sure notifications are sent to your device or email.
02
Check the login page
Phishing sites copy Riot's form and promise free currency, skins, or tournament entry. Please check the address before entering your details: Riot lists authenticate.riotgames.com as the official authorization domain.
Do not enter your password after clicking on a link from a personal message. It’s safer to open the official website or game client yourself.
Verify the domain before entering the password.
Do not approve an unexpected MFA request.
Do not transfer your account for a “cheap top-up”.
03
Save data for recovery
Keep Riot Points and prepaid card receipts until successful deposit. To use the code, a photo of the card or a digital copy, a receipt and purchase information will be useful, but the code itself cannot be published.
If you notice an unknown login, first change your email password, then Riot Account, end other people's sessions and contact official support.
Riot Support should not ask for a password. Don't even send it to someone who claims to be a support person.
