Choose a one-time amount rather than an uncontrolled top-up
Ask your child to show the desired purchase and its price. Check to see if this applies to an avatar, an individual experience, or a subscription. Don't start with the maximum denomination: a small pre-agreed budget is easier to control.
The name "without a bank card" here means that the card does not need to be linked to Roblox. The gift code itself is still a paid product. In the store form, choose an available payment method and look at the final cost, and not the promise of a free top-up.

Figure out what will be credited after the code
Most cash gift cards generate Roblox Credit, which is then used to purchase Robux in the browser. Some options, including certain Amazon cards and Party Packs, give Robux directly. Check the description of a specific product rather than making a conclusion based on the appearance of the card.
Do not record the expected number of Robux using the old exchange table. The amount depends on the type of offer and the package available at the time of purchase. After redemption, Roblox shows what exactly was added to the account; This message must be read before taking the next steps.

How to activate a card on a child’s account
For a clear, universal script, use a browser. The official help also describes a separate feature in the Samsung Galaxy app, but the regular mobile app and console do not replace the redemption web page.
Receive the code by email and save your proof of purchase.
Open roblox.com/redeem manually, without clicking on advertising links.
Check the child's username; log out of someone else's account if it is open.
Enter the code, confirm the redemption and read the result.
When crediting Credit, select the appropriate Robux package in the browser and check the new balance.
If Credit is not visible in the application, this does not prove the loss of money. Check your balance on the redemption web page or payment settings.

Set up family controls separately
Link your parent account to your child account using Roblox official rules and check available spending limits and notifications. Opportunities vary by age and region. Don't expect that one setting will automatically cover all the ways you can receive currency.
Roblox specifically excludes gift card redemptions from the monthly spending limit. Therefore, keep simple separate records: date, card value and agreed upon purpose. Explain to your child that after a gift, an additional purchase requires a new approval, even if the interface offers another package.

Protect your code and account from “helpers”
Don't give the code to someone who promises to double Robux and don't broadcast it. The gift card does not require a password, Roblox cookie, or two-step verification code. There is also no need to install the extension for “activation”.
If a refusal occurs, check your account, code symbols, and Roblox message. If the status is “already used”, save your proof of purchase and contact the seller or official support regarding the nature of the problem. Do not post the full PIN in general discussions; only provide it through a verified official channel when actually requested.
