How to enable 2-Step Verification
Log into Roblox, open Settings and the Security section. Select the available 2-Step Verification method and confirm the setting according to the instructions on the screen.
The authenticator application generates temporary codes regardless of SMS, and email confirmation is easier to start using. Choose a method to which only you control access.
02
How to disable two-step verification
Log into your account, go to Settings → Security and find the 2-Step Verification method enabled. Turn off its switch and complete confirmation if Roblox asks for it. Do not share the verification code with anyone, not even the person who claims to be support.
If a separate Enhanced Protection is enabled, first open its settings in Security, click Turn off and confirm the action using passkey or hardware key. Disabling Enhanced Protection does not in itself disable the regular 2SV method.
If you have lost access to the code or are unable to log in, do not try to bypass verification through third-party sites. Use the saved backup code or official Roblox support.
03
Set up backup access immediately
Create backup codes in the security section and save them in a secure place. Each code is used once, so after using up the set, issue a new one.
Roblox also recommends adding an additional recovery method: a verified phone number for users of the appropriate age, passkey, or another 2SV method.
Do not store backup codes only in the phone with the authenticator.
Do not send verification codes to other people.
Check recovery before changing device.
04
If the code does not arrive
Check spam, correct email, time on the device with the authenticator and request a new code after a short pause. Don't create many requests in a row.
If the primary method is not available, use a previously saved fallback option or the official Roblox support form.
Robux support staff and sellers should not ask for your password, 2SV code or backup code.
