What to choose: Premium, stars or a gift in your profile
Start with your friend's habits. If he uses the messenger every day, it makes more sense to give him a Premium term. If he chooses to make purchases through bots and mini-applications, he may find Stars balance more convenient. Asking for preferences is more useful than buying the largest package at random.

How to find the correct username
Open a friend's profile from your usual conversation and copy the public username. Compare it character by character with what you entered in the order. A nice name, photo, phone number and contact you have saved do not guarantee that the username you entered belongs to the same person.
If there is no public username, ask a friend to install it or use the available standard gift method in Telegram. In the Unlimit form, check the profile you find before paying. If the username has recently changed or looks suspicious, check it in the dialogue you already know.

Purchase procedure and checking the result
A gift in Unlimit is sent to the specified account, and is not issued with a universal code, which can then be given to anyone. Do not indicate your username for verification if you want to top up a friend.
Select the Premium or Stars tab.
Enter your friend's username and check the recipient's profile.
Select the subscription period or number of stars; check the price.
Pay for the created order and wait for confirmation of execution.
Ask a friend to check Premium in Settings or Stars Balance if you need to confirm delivery.
If a friend already has Premium, check the specific offer's applicability before paying. Direct gift and gift code rules may differ.

How to save a New Year's surprise
For New Year 2027, check your username, product and budget in advance. Don’t leave checking your profile until the last minutes of December 31: a mistake by the recipient is more unpleasant than a congratulations a little earlier. Set aside reserves for processing the payment and the order itself.
If the gift is credited after payment, purchasing a week before the holiday may reveal the surprise ahead of time. You can give your congratulations in a separate message at the right time, but this does not delay the start of your subscription or the crediting of Stars. Use an exact dispatch schedule only where it is explicitly supported.

What to do if there is a delay and how to avoid falling for phishing
Compare the username in the order with the current friend profile and the payment status with the fulfillment status. If the payment is completed and the result is not visible, do not buy again immediately: contact us with your order number. Save the recipient's information at the time of purchase.
“Receive a gift by scanning the QR to enter” links require special caution. The gift should not turn into allowing an unfamiliar device to log into your account. Do not send Telegram code, SMS, cloud password or active session data.
