Before entering the code
Check your Spotify profile country and plan type. Save the receipt and message with the code. If the seller calls the item a gift card, specifically check the origin and expiration date: Spotify says that new gift cards are no longer being released for sale, and previously purchased ones remain valid.

Activate and check deadline
Open spotify.com/account/redeem, log in and enter the code. Check your confirmation and go to your account page to see your plan and payment information. For Free Premium, it begins after activation, and for the current Individual, the gift period is applied from the next charge date.
If the deadline is not immediately visible, refresh the page and check whether the account is open. Do not send the code or password to others for “verification”.
Spotify limits cumulative gift card redemptions to 18 months.

If an error occurs
Check code characters and region. Make sure the account is not on an inappropriate plan. After four unsuccessful attempts, Spotify asks you to wait 24 hours before trying again. Save the error text and contact the seller with your order number without giving your password.
