Configuration via browser
Log into Account Management under the organizer's account, open Family Management, select the child's account and click Edit next to the monthly spending limit.
Select the amount and save changes. The child will be able to pay for purchases only within the limits of the available money in the family wallet and the specified limit.

Setup on PS5
Open Settings, then Family and Parental Controls and Family Management. Select the child, go to Parental Controls and change the Monthly Spending Limit.
Check that the correct child profile is selected.
Set a clear monthly amount.
Discuss what purchases are acceptable.

Limit is not the only protection
Separately configure game age level, communication, user-generated content, and game time. These settings are account-specific and apply to supported PlayStation devices.
Do not tell your child the family organizer password and enable additional login protection for the adult account.
The zero limit blocks the child's independent purchases, but does not replace checking other parental settings.
