Ask for a platform, not a gift
The question “what should I give you?” often puts a person in an awkward position. It’s better to ask a simpler question: where do you play most often now and what region of your account?
These two answers already cut off half of the unsuitable options.
Steam, PlayStation, Roblox, mobile game or subscription.
Account region or store country.
Preference: balance, currency, subscription or specific game.

Selection matrix
The choice becomes clearer if you go from the situation, and not from the store window.
| Situation | Best gift | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Don't know a specific game | Balance or gift card | The recipient will choose |
| Plays Roblox | Robux, Credit or Premium | In-Roblox purchases |
| Plays on PlayStation | PS Store card or PS Plus | Regional ecosystem |
| Loves Telegram | Premium or Stars | Benefits inside the messenger |
| Listens to music | Spotify Premium | Clear subscription |

When it's better not to be a surprise
A surprise is good as long as it doesn't depend on the region. For PlayStation, Apple, Spotify and some game codes, your account region may decide whether the gift is activated or not.
If in doubt, it is better to specify the region or give a more universal format for the platform that the person definitely uses.

How to beautifully convey a digital gift
A digital gift can be made neatly: send the code in a personal message, add a short activation instruction and keep the receipt until confirmation.
Do not send the code in a group chat or post a screenshot where the full code is visible.
Send the code only to the recipient.
Add a link to the official instructions.
Save the order number before activation.
